How To Make Your Backlinks Count I

But do we realize that there are many things we need to always check before agreeing to exchanging links with yet another internet site? After-all, the whole point of changing links...

I believe that we all know now how essential backlinks are for the search engine ranking success of our web site. Clicking index backlinks investigation maybe provides aids you can give to your pastor. I also think that most of us know now that one way to get these backlinks is by doing link deals with other sites. Get extra resources on backlinks indexer by visiting our telling portfolio. (For the uninitiated, backlinks are links on other web sites that point to ours.)

But do we know that there are various things we need to examine before agreeing to exchanging links with another web site? After-all, the entire point of trading links with others is to enjoy the standing of their web sites. It is therefore crucial that people examine ahead of time regarding whether exchanging links with still another site would be to our advantage or not.

I have considered this whole idea of link exchange planning and came up with a process that involves an examination of 3 pages of the web page we want to exchange links with. The 3 pages are:

- the home page where we are going to need to examine 7 reasons for that page,

- the index page: this is the page that includes a listing of types that the site has assembled in a bid to arrange its link exchanges. We must check 7 things here,

- the backlink page: here is the page that will contain our backlink. We also need to always check 7 things here.

Observe that in some instances, the 'target' internet site will not have a directory page. In that case, our investigation will be a one in the place of an one.

Within this first article, of may be 2 or 3, we will look at the 7 things (organized in 2 groups) we should check about the website of the goal website.

1. We have to check what Google thinks of the site. This is done by considering some items that Google is happy to report a few site. The idea here is to see if there are any problems with the website, from Google's point of view, that could cause us to determine not to exchange links with them.

It is suggested that people look at:

a) exactly how many pages does your website have indexed? This is done through the use of 'site:www.site.com' in the Google search box,

b) how many backlinks does Google record for your site? This is often done by using 'links:www.site.com' in the Google search box,

c) will be the site shown in Google's index? This can be done by utilizing 'http://www.site.com' within the Google search box,

d) what is the Page Rank of the site/home site? There are many methods for achieving this. One of the ways will be to get the Google toolbar and visit the site to see its PR. Yet another way is by using one of the numerous web sites online that permits us to obtain the PR of any web site. And one more way is to look for software that will tell the PR to you of any web sites.

While we will generally need to look at these 4 things together in a sort of table so as to decide if the target site moves the first step or not, you'll find certain results that could cause me to decide straight away not to exchange links having a site:

- when the PR of your website is zero,

- when the site is not listed in the Google index,

- if the site does not have any pages found by Google.

You will note here that I'm using Google as the first-step in the planning. In-fact, we may use any se if we wish to but given as it pertains to backlinks that Google is more restless than others, I'd suggest using Google within the above first step.

2. I'd then claim that we look at 3 tags of the home page of the target site, in a bid to ascertain when the site includes a style suitable for ours:

a) its name label,

b) its information label,

c) its keywords tag.

There are lots of ways of examining the contents of the web page's tags. If your browser, such as for instance MSIE, enables you to view the contents of a web page, then you'll need to visit the home page and select the right menu command to view the contents of the page. You then will need to search to the top of the page-to view the contents of its tags. The alternative is always to search for web sites on the net that let you view the contents of the labels of any web pages. There are lots of such web sites online.

The reason for this is the fact that Google takes into account the design of web sites when taking a look at backlinks. To compare more, consider checking out: linklicious integration. This means that backlinks from a site that has a style compatible with mine will be of greater value than one that comes from a site that has nothing to do with what our site is approximately.

As mentioned above, this planning is on the home page of the target website and is just the first step. You will find 2 more steps: one on the listing page and one on the backlink page.

It's only when the goal web site passes the 3 ways that we must feel comfortable about trading links together in that the hyperlink exchange is to our advantage. Needless to state that the goal web site may also need to conduct the same 3-step analysis of our site prior to seeking to trade links around.
